Peak Recruitment, a regional recruitment specialist in the food and agriculture sector, has named Jariya Sethi as the Regional Director for the Asia Pacific region
According to Peak’s Managing Director, Tim Golding, Jariya will move into the Director’s role in recognition of her success in the field of human resource consultancy and continued contributions to the company's efforts to become the premier recruitment partner to the food, crop and animal industries in Asia.
Tim added, “APAC is an extremely diverse and complex region and is where our journey started. Jariya’s experience and deep understanding of the business places her in a unique position to ensure there is a strong continuity for our clients and network of candidates in the region, as the business aims to grow into Europe and America. Jariya has been, and continues to be, integral in providing a consultative approach to how we do business and how we are recognised in the market as a company who lives by our core values.”
According to Peak, Jariya joined the company in 2017 and during the past five years she has been instrumental in positioning Peak as a leader within their field in the Thailand market. As the company looks to increase its regional presence in Asia, she will aim to be the company’s key representative, ultimately providing its clients with a truly regional pool of talent across food and agricultural sciences in Asia.
Jariya brings with her over ten years of experience within recruitment and banking, of which five have been with Peak. She holds B.A. and M.B.A. degrees in business management from Shinawatra and Stamford Universities.
Jariya said, “I am passionate about what I do, and the journey with Peak so far has been incredibly exciting as we’ve diverged into new Asian markets. I am honoured to be leading the Asian office moving ahead; we’ve built some fantastic relationships over the last few years and I am very much looking forward to furthering our growth in the region.”
Jariya will continue to be based in Bangkok, Thailand and will assume leadership of the company’s Asia business, whilst the company focuses its attention on developing new markets in Europe and America’s, with a UK office planned for early 2022. Their aim for Asia is to broaden their footprint, with increasing volumes of future hires in other key markets, including Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea and Japan.
