Account Product Manager – Specialty Chemicals

Job Description:

  • Report to Division Manager of Specialty Chemicals
  • The role will be responsible for direct commercial activities (sales and purchase) and maintaining and expanding relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships
  • Perform active sales activities in the assigned accounts, including negotiations on price, delivery, contracts
  • Set up account strategy (proposition, visits, targets)
  • Identify and grow opportunities within market segments and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs
  • Gain and analyze complete market insight, indicators and trends of the assigned market segment and its (potential) customers
  • Pipeline planning with projects, sales targets, visit targets, potential margins, values, volumes,
  • Manage and control aftersales activities
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
  • Agreements and follow-up on payment terms

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 3-5 years commercial experience in specialty chemicals
  • Preferably with experience in Plastic, Plaint & Coating, Lubricant, Adhesive
  • An excellent team worker and able to relate to all levels of an organization
  • Good skill of English spoken and written
  • Have own transportation and driving license
