Our client is a global leader in providing integrated solutions to the crop science industry.
The Laboratory Manager is a newly created role for our client’s China operations and will be a key role in setting up the laboratory in Yang Ling, Shaanxi Province China to support all facets of biology development programs for both new products and expansion of the existing portfolio, from proof of concept, through product development and up to product launch.
Responsibilities include documenting and communicating work effectively, managing laboratory resources, coordinating with technicians and project teams, and ensuring alignment with R&D goals. Additionally, the role involves interfacing with Technical Sales Representatives for smooth handovers during product commercialization and collaborating with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to strengthen industry relationships, support development projects, monitor research areas, and identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
Qualified degree in Agronomy/Horticulture/Plant Physiology or other related fields.
Solid experience in a laboratory manager level, from a crop-protection industry. Prior experience in research or technical support.
Proficiency in the design of experiments and data analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time and station at laboratory in Yang Ling, Shaanxi Province.
