Product Innovation Chef – Sweet and Savoury Applications
Client Description:

Our client is a global producer of coatings, seasonings, marinades and sauces, supplying to some of the world’s leading QSR and Food Service brands.

Job Description:

  • Manage and interpret customer requirements into Product Innovation - listening to customers and using astute questioning to understand, anticipate, and exceed their needs.
  • Must be able to create high impact market research, conduct compelling product demonstrations and ideations, and must be able to execute culinary skills.
  • Consults the customer for all technical issues including solving their technical problems.
  • Performing technical/Product Innovation presentations with food trend update and demonstrating how a product can meet customer needs.
  • Travels to visit potential customers initially with a sales team member.
  • Coordinates Product Innovation and/or sales projects with R&D, Production and Quality.
  • Provides pre-sales technical assistance, product education, Market Trend/Product Launch Update.
  • Supports sales in upselling key products during each product demo.
  • Establishes new and maintains existing long-term rapport with customers.
  • Provides support materials for other members of the sales & marketing team.
  • Records and maintains Product Innovation Database and customer contact data.
  • Under direction of Product Innovation Head Chef; administers assigned customer.
  • Liaises with other members of the sales & marketing team and other technical experts.
  • Willing to travel within Thailand or overseas as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Thai Nationality
  • Bachelor's degree or associate’s degree on food technology, culinary or any related field.
  • Professional experience in a culinary kitchen or related field.
  • Project management for various demos, events and food tours
  • Knowledge of coating and seasoning applications and general food technology food industries.
  • Experienced not only within hotel or restaurants but also with food ingredient manufacturers.
  • Good organization with the ability to communicate complex technical issues.
  • Computer literacy and excellent presentation skills.
  • Fluent on both Thai and English communication.
