Our client is a global leader in providing integrated solutions to the crop science industry.
The Regulatory Affairs Manager APAC is a newly created role for our client’s China operations and will be a key role in developing, implementing, and leading regulatory strategies for our client’s innovative pre and post harvest products portfolio.
The role will report to Global Regulatory Affairs Director and work closely with the local China management team, managing regulatory affairsfor crop science registrations, both for China and the wider APAC region, whilst also providing global specialist advice for a specific product group. As a home-based, this role can located anywhere in China although ideally in close proximity to Beijing.
Responsibilities:
Manage development projects and lead the development and implementation of regulatory strategies required to obtain, defend, and maintain our client’s innovative product registrations for the APAC Region.
Develop an advocacy strategy with key partners and key agencies in APAC focusing on China to promote and facilitate the registration of our client’s product portfolio.
Bring scientific, regulatory affairs, and policy-related strategic abilities to address complex regulatory issues impacting our key current and future registrations.
Drive regional regulatory strategies in APAC of an assigned portfolio of end-use products and countries.
Develop and execute strategies on an assigned portfolio, and provide technical support to the global team.
Work with partner companies to provide regulatory expertise.
Contribute to the global regulatory team by sharing experience on regulatory activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science related fields is preferable.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in regulatory or registration work in the agrochemical, crop science industry.
Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
Good level of English language.
