Our client is an Italian agro-food group specializing in premium products and solutions for both professionals and consumers, with a focus on the pastry, bakery, chocolate, ice cream, and food sectors. They are recognized for providing high-quality ingredients and expertise.
The Sales Manager will focus on industrial channels within the sweet segment, leading efforts to drive sales growth and maximize business potential. This role will require a strategic approach to develop and implement initiatives that expand the customer base in the factory and manufacturing sectors.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their specific needs, and ensuring the timely delivery of products. This role will also be responsible for resolving customer issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
In addition to managing the sales team, the role involves collaborating with internal teams to optimize processes and generate new sales opportunities. The Sales Manager will also prepare regular reports on account progress, sales forecasts, and goals to present to both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in any related field
Experience in sales/ key account management in industrial bakery business promoting and developing products such as Chocolate, Margarine and UHT non-dairy Cream is a plus.
Experience and proven record of accomplishment within sales team in the Food Industry.
Leadership with good communication, negotiation & interpersonal skills.
Good level of English language and willingness to travel.
