Our client is a global supplier of industrial optic machinery, is seeking a Head of Sales, APAC to spearhead its ambitious growth across the Asia Pacific region. A pivotal leadership role driving the company’s ambitious growth with region. This dynamic position requires leading a high-performing commercial team across key markets, including China, Thailand, Taiwan, India, and Malaysia, while accelerating sales growth through strategic accounts, consumables, and service contracts. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the fast-evolving optical industry, capable of executing innovative sales strategies and expanding market presence.
This position requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in managing diverse, multicultural teams. You will be a strategic powerhouse, adept at developing innovative sales strategies and expanding market reach, all while fostering collaboration and delivering measurable results. With a forward-thinking mindset, you will play a key role in driving the company’s success and strengthening its market position in the APAC region.
This role is open to all nationalities with the location based in either Bangkok, Shanghai or Singapore (home-based) with 60 – 70% traveling between the Asia Pacific and HQ in Germany, making it perfect for a globe-trotting sales leader ready to make a significant impact.
Qualifications:
Degree qualified in electrical engineering, electro-mechanical engineering, and mechanical engineering-related fields.
Proven leadership experience to manage and inspire diverse, multicultural teams across multiple countries, driving collaboration and performance.
Ability to identify and seize opportunities for market penetration and growth in the APAC region.
In-depth understanding of the optical industry, including key accounts, consumables, and service contracts, with the ability to navigate trends and competition in the sector.
Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a proven track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
