Our client is a leading global producer and trader of specialty food ingredients.
The role of International Account Manager is a full time office based role at our clients European sales office in Amsterdam, and will be the primary contact for European food and nutrition manufacturing customers within Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
Building and expanding the customer base, both acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships.
Collaborating closely with team members to ensure efficient operations.
Managing assigned customers while being actively involved in team efforts.
Occasional travel to engage with international customers and participate in industry events.
In this role, you will receive training in logistics, documentation, and customer service aspects related to quality assurance and the import-export processes. The responsibilities will include overseeing the smooth processing of shipments and maintaining accurate shipping records to meet customer expectations effectively.
Qualifications:
Ideally at least 3 years’ experience in an international sales, account management and/or customer facing position
Minimum of a Bachelor / HBO level in a relevant field.
Excellent communication skills in English, and ideally Dutch.
Strong Office 365 skills
Able to work from the office, with WFH one day per week after the probation period.
Work clearance to work in the Netherlands.
