Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented R&D Director to lead a talented team in driving innovation across new product development, quality enhancement, and packaging solutions. You will ensure products not only meet market trends and consumer demands but also align with sustainability goals. Managing the entire R&D process for fresh-cut fruits, vegetables, and ready-to-eat meals and snacks, you will guide projects from concept through to commercialization. By collaborating closely with marketing and commercial teams, you'll ensure that innovations are strategically aligned with brand vision and customer needs.
The R&D Director plays a key role in food safety, regulatory, and certification standards, optimizing post-harvest processing and packaging, and fostering external partnerships with research institutions to continuously refine R&D practices and drive sustainable business growth
Qualifications:
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
Proven track records in R&D leadership roles within fresh produce and food processing.
Expertise in natural preservatives, shelf-life extension, and clean-label ingredients is a plus.
Ability to translate consumer insights and market trends into successful product innovations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and drive collaboration.
