Our client is a global pet food manufacturer setting up their manufacturing site in Thailand for the overseas markets.
Reporting to the Thailand R&D Manager, theResearch & Development Specialistis an exciting, newly created role offering the opportunity to lead end-to-end innovation projects for pet food products from concept to market launch. In this dynamic position, the role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, regulatory, and OEM. The product development technologist's responsibilities will include identifying new product opportunities through in-depth consumer insights and competitor analysis, developing innovative product concepts, enhancing existing products, and conducting performance tests to drive business success.
Qualifications:
Degree qualified in animal science, Animal feed production, agriculture,or other related.
At least 5 years experience in pet food product development
A good understanding of pet food processing, animal nutrition and food science.
Understanding of AAFCO, FIDIAF and DLD regulations.
Languages required – Thai (native), English (Intermediate)
