We are working on an excellent opportunity with an Asia-based food ingredients producer, supplying a wide variety of food ingredients in the Thailand market. They are looking for a talented R&D Manager to lead their R&D team.
This role will involve leading and executing R&D activities across product categories such as seasonings, pre-mixes, hot and cold sauces, and more. The successful candidate will develop a strong technical product pipeline through consumer-focused innovation and renovation to drive growth and profitability. Key responsibilities include building and developing the R&D team, collaborating with the Sales team to analyze industry and consumer trends, and creating long-term company strategies.
Additionally, this role will assist in the commercialization of R&D innovation projects and establish technical partnerships with key ecosystem partners. The R&D Manager will validate business cases and assumptions to prioritize projects and support resource allocation. Collaboration with Regulatory and QA teams will be essential to evaluate the viability of new ingredients or technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Chemistry, or a related field.
Strong experience in liquid condiments processing, food safety, and formula design within the food industry.
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to engage and connect with the audience.
Experience in developing and collaborating with external partners and ecosystems
Good understanding of commercial and economic aspects of the business.
Languages required – Thai (native), English (Intermediate)
