We are representing a manufacturer of innovative products for the animal feed and crop fertilizer sectors, who are seeking a Sales Director for their global business. This key role involves overseeing commercial activities in Asia Pacific and in the longer term globally, shaping strategic agreements, and driving revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will lead by example, managing regional and global sales teams, targeting large feed mills, plantations and distribution partners. Key responsibilities include drafting & executing commercial plans, setting revenue targets, and exploring new revenue streams.
Applicants should bring extensive sales management experience in animal feed or crop nutrition/protection businesses at a regional level. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and excel at building long-term relationships with global industry players, we want to hear from you.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree qualified, ideally in agri-business related field.
At least 10 years' experience in a sales or business development role with at least 5 years in a senior or management position.
A good understanding of one or more of the fertiliser, biostimulant, aquaculture, petfood, animal feed industries.
An existing network with key target clients in either the fertiliser or feed industry would be preferred.
A proven track record in launching new products.
Display a cohesive ability at interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written - in English
Strong project management skills and ability to think strategically and creatively
Experience coordinating and working within a geographically distributed team (>3 operational sites plus HQ), and production from multiple sites
Experience managing multicultural teams, with experience of living and working in Asia looked upon favourably.
Previous experience in a mid to large size company, as well as in high-growth, fast-paced and dynamic companies and/or teams.
