Our client is an international sourcing company with offices the world.
The Supplier Auditor will be based out of our clients Germany office close to Frankfurt, but with a regional scope for mainland Europe, and will work with the global procurement teams to oversee supplier audits, ensuring they adhere to our clients’ global food safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate the supplier's food safety and quality system in the supplier selection process and update the supplier's food safety and quality system database.
Participate in supplier audits, collect and prepare the final supplier audit checklists and the summarized audit reports.
Follow up and review the suppliers' corrective action plan from purchasing team and follow up evidences from purchasing team and /or suppliers.
Coordinate and manage quality aspects supplier selection to on-site quality assessments.
Arranging pre-shipment goods inspections and tests with selected external service providers. Providing support to 3rd parties during operations as needed.
Maintaining day-to-day supplier and service provider relationship and efficient communication flow during order processing by discussing and tackling issues as necessary.
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in a Food Science related field.
7+ years experience in a supplier quality, QA/QC or related position from within the food industry.
Good command of English and German languages.
Good knowledge in quality systems such as BRC, GMP, HACCP, Halal, etc.
Able to travel to suppliers for audits throughout Europe.

Basic Salary: 60,000 - 70,000 EUR/Annual
